America is slowly awakening to the grim realities of a Trump-encumbered nation. On public display during this election cycle is an out-and-out street fight between the CIA and the FBI. The first salvo was by the FBI, who’s New York office was livid that Director Comey had given in to the Justice Department by not pursuing an investigation into candidate Clinton regarding the infamous e-mail scandals. Outcry from the NYPD and NY FBI field office led Director Comey to revisit the case 11 days before the election. Here’s a few nuggets from “The Guardian””

‘The FBI is Trumpland’: anti-Clinton atmosphere spurred leaking, sources say
(Excerpts)
Deep antipathy to Hillary Clinton exists within the FBI, multiple bureau sources have told the Guardian, spurring a rapid series of leaks damaging to her campaign just days before the election.
Current and former FBI officials, none of whom were willing or cleared to speak on the record, have described a chaotic internal climate that resulted from outrage over director James Comey’s July decision not to recommend an indictment over Clinton’s maintenance of a private email server on which classified information transited.
“The FBI is Trumpland,” said one current agent.

“The Daily Beast reported on Thursday on ties between Trump surrogate Rudy Giuliani, the former New York mayor, and the FBI’s New York field office, which reportedly pressed the FBI to revisit the Clinton server investigation after beginning an inquiry into Weiner’s alleged sexual texting with a minor. The website reported that a former New York field office chief, highly critical of the non-indictment, runs a military charity that has received significant financial donations from Trump.”

At the same time, the CIA is reporting through it’s Washington Post mouthpiece that the election was hacked by the Russians, who favored a Trump victory. Here’s what journalist Glen Greenwald had to say:
“Glenn Greenwald, a journalist at The Intercept known for his critical assessment of unsubstantiated media claims, called the Washington Post piece “classic American journalism of the worst sort,” pointing out that the article’s key claims are “based exclusively on the unverified assertions of anonymous officials, who in turn are disseminating their own claims about what the CIA purportedly believes, all based on evidence that remains completely secret.”
Meanwhile, “Former” CIA officer Robert Baer has called for a new election, something that would probably trigger another American civil war:

“Ex-CIA operative: We may need a new vote

Meanwhile, Democratic activist Scott Dworkin has filed an FBI complaint against Rudy Giuliani as to foreknowledge of the supposed Russian hacks:
You can read a better copy at Dworkin’s Twitter account: https://twitter.com/funder
And wouldn’t you know it, Rudy Giuliani has withdrawn his name from the selection process in Trumps cabinet:
Rudy Giuliani Won’t Be Trump’s Secretary Of State
“Giuliani’s withdrawal was likely to disappoint some of Trump’s most loyal aides, who appreciated how he had supported the president-elect all along and had been resistant to Romney.
Earlier on Friday, CNN, citing an unnamed source, reported that Giuliani was told he was no longer in contention for secretary of state.”

Behind the scenes, there is some very high-stakes poker going on here. Giuliani was clearly taken out of a possible Secretary of State position he has waited for all his life. This was no accident, as Giuliani is as tight with the FBI as he is with his mob-infested family and colleagues.
Now it’s turn for the CIA to start sweating. Again, from The Guardian:
Intelligence figures fear Trump reprisals over assessment of Russia election role
(Excerpts)
“Legislators overseeing the CIA and other intelligence agencies have told the Guardian they will be vigilant about reprisals from Donald Trump over an internal assessment that Russia intervened in the 2016 election to ensure Trump’s victory.
Fears of retaliation rose within US intelligence agencies over a tense weekend that saw Trump publicly dismiss not only the assessment but the basic competence of the intelligence apparatus.
*
“It is not possible to gauge precisely how deep fears of retaliation run within the intelligence world. Two currently serving intelligence officers told the Guardian this weekend they had not heard their colleagues express such concerns.
One noted that civil-service laws prevented Trump from launching a purge, but also called attention to a report that Trump is combing through the energy department bureaucracy to identify people “who have attended climate change policy conferences.
Former intelligence officers told the Guardian they considered retaliation by Trump to be all but a certainty after he is sworn into office next month. Trump still has several appointments to make at the highest levels of the intelligence apparatus, picks which are likely to be bellwethers for the new president’s attitudes toward the agencies.”

There have always been competing factions within the corrupt American system of government, but behind the scenes there may be a great deal of stage-managing going on, a shift in the direction the elites want to take the U.S., for better or worse.
For an altogether different view on what may be occurring, we turn to geo-political analyst William Engdahl:
http://www.williamengdahl.com/englishNEO25Nov2016.php
(Excerpts)
“We should not imagine for one second th1at the Patriarchy– those loveless old men like David Rockefeller or George Herbert Walker Bush or unnamed others– were so overwhelmed by the political genius of candidate Trump emerging from every scandal more powerful than before, that they were surprised, out-foxed, and just groaned and let it happen.
The Trump Presidency has been planned in minute detail by them and their think tanks. Quite simply, had they continued the policies that Hillary Clinton represented–war and confrontation against Russia, against China, with Color Revolution destabilizations of any and all political leaders who opposed them whether Ghaddafi or Mubarak or even Putin–they saw they were losing power over huge parts of the world, essential geopolitical power.
When a President of the relatively tiny American former colony fears not to openly attack by name an American President as “son of a whore,” and declare in China his Philippines’ “separation” from the United States, when one country after the other comes closer in economic and political cooperation to Russia, to China and to their growing Eurasian economic cohesion around the One Bridge One Road Eurasian infrastructure great project, it was clearly time to install a Plan B President.
That Plan B is casino mogul Donald1 Trump, a political tabula rasa, a power-possessed person with a blackmail potential that will keep him on program for them, an alpha male who is quite gifted at being able to make people fear.”
*
“I state clearly my conviction, and please recall this as Trump Presidency policies unfold after January 20, 2017 to see if I am correct or not: Donald Trump was put into office to prepare America for war, a war the banks of Wall Street and the US military industrial complex are not presently in a position economically or industrially or otherwise, geopolitically, to win. His job will be to reposition the United States for them to reverse the trend to disintegration of American global hegemony, to, as the Dick Cheney, Paul Wolfowitz Project for the New American Century put it in their September, 2000 report, “rebuild America’s defenses.”
To do that preparation, a deception strategy that will fatally weaken the developing deep bonds between Russia and China will be priority.”

So just what is going on here? It’s still weeks before Trump is officially President, and shit’s already falling apart everywhere. Or, being torn apart and glued back together in some yet unrecognizable way.
It has been reported however, that Trump and the RNC were also hacked. Just who is in possession of those documents is not at all clear. If the CIA or NSA (surely) have them, they hold the blackmail keys. If the Russians (likely) have them, well…
Presidents that cross the CIA usually don’t fare too well.

One engages the national security state apparatus in public conflict at one’s own peril….
“The very word secrecy is repugnant in a free and open society and we are as a people inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, to secret oaths and secret proceedings. We decided long ago that the dangers of excessive and unwarranted concealment of pertinent facts far outweigh the dangers which are cited to justify it………” JFK 196Going against the Nstl intelligence aparatus didn’t work out too well got Jack Kennedy!
