Inside The Vatican Part 3

Pope Pius xii and Hitler

In our continuing study of the hidden history of The Vatican, we turn to the post World War 2 era and the flight of Nazi war criminals out of Europe.
Pictured above is Pope Pius xii, who’s staff witnessed the Pope funding the early rise of Hitler.
To frame this issue, we need to consider the political stance of the church at that time: the ongoing struggle against “atheistic communism”.
The natural alignment for the church was (as described in “Blowback”, by Christopher Simpson) the growing “clerical-Fascist political parties that were willing Nazi pawns during the war”.
Indeed, modern revision history attempts to suggest that the church actually hid some Jews during the rise of Nazism, but the official stance was that “It would be unreasonable in a Christian state to allow the Jews to participate in government”…”It is also legitimate to admit them to the universities and the liberal professions only on the basis of a fixed proportion”… “This policy, in practice led to Catholic political parties’ carrying out many of the preparatory steps for the Holocaust”… (Simpson, p178).
Before, during and after the war, many countries were not aligned with either the Allies or the Axis. Some, such as India and those of the middle east were leaning toward the Germans as the result of anti-British colonial sentiment. Others in South America (such as Peron’s Argentina) and elsewhere were outright admirers of Hitler.
After the war, there was a power-play between the Russians and western intelligence to bring talented Nazi spies and scientists into the fold. The Nazis were obviously motivated to save their own necks from war crimes trials. Additionally, huge financial resources were spirited out of Germany through “The Bormann Organization” which is popularly known as “The Odessa”.
The Vatican operated what intelligence called “Ratlines”, which first hid the most important Nazis within the church, and ratlined them to the middle east, South America, and yes, the United States.
As Argentine journalist Uki Goni describes in “The Real Odessa“,

“Perhaps the clearest example of the Church’s central role was a letter drafted on 31 August by Bishop Alois Hudal to President Juan Peron, requesting 5,000 visas for German and Austrian soldiers’, probably the single largest such appeal made to the Argentine general. These were not refugees, Hudal explained, they were anti-communist fighters whose wartime “sacrifice” had saved Europe from Soviet domination. In other words, in Hudal’s shorthand, they were German and Austrian Nazis.”…
“Like other Nazi collaborators who later helped war criminals escape to Argentina, Hudal had attempted to reconcile Christianity with Hitlarism…
“Hudel”.. “concluded that Hitler was preparing for the consolidation of a Christian Europe”. (Goni, “The Real Odessa”, p230).
Again, from Simpson’s “Blowback”:
“The United States became ensnarled in Intermarium’slarge-scale underground railroads for Nazis when the CIC hired Croation Intermarium leader Monsignor Krunoslav Dragonovic to run special ratlines out of Europe for U.S.-sponsered intelligence assets that were too “hot” to have any official connection with the U.S. government.”
(Note- “Intermarium” was a lay-Catholic organization that obviously ran some of the “ratlines”,)

The most recognized Nazi War Criminals hidden in South America were Joseph Mengele, Adof Eichmann and Klaus Barbie.
The financial organization of Martin Bormann, also run from South America, will be discussed in a future article. The tentacles of the Bormann Organization exist today.

What we have to realize about this operation is that not all Nazis were Germans. Among those war criminals that were ratlined out of Europe, some of the worst came from the occupied countries of Croatia, Latvia, Lithuania, and others. Many of the ones that made it to the United States actually became operatives in the Republican Party’s “Ethnic outreach program”, and were critically important in the Nixon and Reagan administrations. For more on that, see “Old Nazis, the New Right, and the Republican Party” by Russ Bellant.

The problem is, the Vatican Ratlines and other secret programs to bring Nazi war criminals out of Europe manifested itself in the rightward movement of  American foreign policy and global terrorism.
As Simpson closes his chapter on “ratlines”:

“..According to reports of FBI investigations, some cells have been responsable for an airplane hijacking, bombings, extortion, numerous murders, and the assassination of several Yugoslavian diplomats over the last two decades”.

The Nazis were remarcably adept at convincing the Americans that the Russians and the Cold War were a bigger threat than they actually were.
“In the final analysis, the cold war became the means for tens of thousands of Nazi war criminals to avoid responsibility for the murders they had committed.”

Don’t forget von Braun and all the other Nazi scientists. We took a bunch of the German scientists and made them work for us.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wernher_von_Braun#Arrest_and_release_by_the_Nazi_regime

“Von Braun was among those scientists for whom the U.S. Joint Intelligence Objectives Agency created false employment histories and expunged Nazi Party memberships and regime affiliations from the public record. Once “bleached” of their Nazism, the US Government granted the scientists security clearance to work in the United States.”

Kinda’ makes you want to watch “The Boys from Brazil” again, eh?

Authorities claim Martin Bormann also died in Germany but witnesses have said that a body double was poisened and made to appear as Bormann.
Bormann then fled to South America and began managing some 750 German front-companies all over the world. They are now embedded in industrial and banking establishments as the 4th Reich.
That much appears to be true…

From what I’ve read the Soviets probably lost Hitler’s skull.

Even if the KGB did create the body speculation will abound. Fascinating story!

Also note; The above article you posted on Hitller’s skull was written by Argentine author Uki Goni, who wrote “The Real Odessa”, quoted in my article re; Vatican Ratlines

I learned quite a bit in reading this huge book, which probably was meant for college classes. Indeed, the author of “Continental Reckoning”, Elliot West, is a Professor of History Emeritus at the University of Arkansas. This book should be in an Economic or Law history class, and probably is. Author Elliot West clearly outlines […]

I found “Acid Dreams; The Complete History Of LSD: The CIA, The Sixties, And Beyond” a pretty good summary of the LSD experience, from the use of the drug in interrogation techniques used by intelligence agencies, to the use of such drugs to destabilize the revolutionary youth movement. At nearly 300 pages (my copy), it […]

Did Jack Scott Radicalize NBA Star Bill Walton? Sadly, we have to note that Bill Walton (and Jack Scott) are no longer living. Walton was a hero for many where I grew up in Portland, Oregon.
